I’m Casey Billings, a storm chaser and search-and-rescue operator committed to helping communities rebuild in the aftermath of severe weather. As the driver and operator of SAR-1, the primary recovery truck for Team Dominator Storm Recovery (TDSR), I deploy directly behind meteorologist Reed Timmer and his Dominator vehicles to provide rapid response when disasters strike.
My background includes extensive training and certifications, including NASAR SARTECH II, multiple FEMA ICS courses, and advanced search-and-rescue modules. These skills have been tested in the field, from tornado recoveries across the Plains to flood operations in Texas. Most notably, I worked alongside the United Cajun Navy during the Kerrville floods, where our combined teams conducted searches, coordinated relief, and supported families in crisis.
In addition to field response, I collaborate with United Cajun Navy and other partners to integrate forecasting, logistics, and recovery operations. My mission is simple: to stand on the frontlines when storms end, ensuring affected communities receive the support, resources, and care they need to recover.
This portfolio highlights my work, partnerships, and experience in storm recovery and search-and-rescue. Severe weather may create chaos, but with the right team, training, and determination, we can turn recovery into resilience.
